This fall we became the new stewards of this land. We're grateful to everyone who made Cedar Springs what it has been, and we can't wait for what comes next: a place to rest, connect and reset.

Farmland, forest, and water, at the foot of the Cascades.
Elsewhere Farm sits on nearly 50 acres in the Day Creek area outside Sedro-Woolley, at the edge of the Skagit Valley. Open fields run out to a forest edge, a big, healthy creek runs along one side of the land, where salmon make their way upstream each fall to spawn, with more forest and meadow on the other side, and the foothills rise up behind it all. It has been a gathering place for a long time, and it's easy to slow down here.
The photos on this page show the property as it is today. The lodge and the Old Dairy Barn are being refreshed this winter, and we'll share progress along the way.

How it's laid out
The Old Dairy Barn
A large, high-ceilinged space with cedar paneling. This is where groups will meet, move, and gather. It's being renovated this winter, with new floors and radiant heat underfoot.
The lodge
The heart of the farm. A vaulted living room lined in cedar, with a wood stove and a wall of glass opening onto the deck. A dining room for shared meals, and a kitchen alongside it.
Bedrooms
A mix of private bedrooms across two floors, plus a dorm-style room for groups who are happy to bunk together. The bedrooms are being refreshed this winter.
Smaller spaces
A sitting room for breakouts and quiet conversations, and a deck for morning coffee or an evening wind-down.

The land does some of the work
Fields, forest, gardens, and walking paths, with the creek along the edge. The kind of place that makes it easier to put the phone down and actually be where you are.
Cedar and warmth
Cedar walls, a wood stove, and big windows onto the fields. Rooms built for gathering, not for show.
You won't be on your own
We help you plan ahead of your stay, have someone on site while you're here, and can connect you with trusted local vendors. We're not a full event-planning service, but we'll prepare the space so you can focus on your people.
What we're working toward

The Old Dairy Barn and lodge refresh: floors, heat, lighting, beds, and furnishings.

A loop trail and fire circle close to the lodge.
